Is HA worth it?
Hypothetically(sp?), lets say the only HA experience I've had was... well, back when it was called Tombs.
And lets say (hypothetically) I've never won in the HoH. Are the drops worth it? From what I hear you get: Mini Ghostly Hero, Crystallines, Guild Sigils, and maybe a chance at converting favor to your region? So, is HA a good money source? And is it worth it to try and win? |

for it to be a money source you better plan on holding and depending on your timezone and playing times this may or may not be easy. ive won and held halls my fair share and havent received a drop worth mentioning besides sigils which i still own about 15+. with so many good guilds out there, not to mention the r9+ pugs, that you have to equally match, i highly doubt that you should invest your time in haing if youre just in it for money making. people ha because theyre pvpers, so unless youre a pvper and have your guild behind you or r9+ friends, i wouldnt advise it. just play ha to have fun and along the way if it was meant to be, you'll get your crystalline or dwarven axe or fair share of eternal stuff.

Thanks for the reply.
I've decided to not HA for a while, I've watched some Observer mode games and your post confirmed what I thought. Thanks again. |

nah its not really worth it, if your into crazy rank grinding then its pretty pointless... i've played with r2-3s better then r9s.
rank means nothing... and with these "double fame weekends" it means even less. as for getting those weapons, get some good euro friends... still the chances are slim at getting those items. |

A rank 9 will have spent more time in HA than a rank 3. Even if he got it with IWAY during a double fame weekend, he will still have spent more time than the rank 3. To answer the OP, getting good at HA to the point where you can successfully hold the hall takes quite a lot of time. If you do it purely for the money you're better off farming UW or something. |
